What to do when selling your chalet
If you are selling a chalet then please let your solicitor know that this website exists and that they can advise the other solicitor also, the information on the site is designed to make the process easier.
If you sell your chalet, to comply with law you need to transfer your share to the new owner. This is done by completing a 'stock transfer form', you will need to give your share certificate to your solicitor who will complete the form as part of the sale and they need to send the share certificate by post it to the secretary at 14 Laigh Isle, Isle of Whithorn, Newton Stewart,DG8 8LS

Information for solicitors
- Should a chalet be sold the levy apportionment is dealt with by the solicitors, the committee do not administer this and the committee do not get involved.
- The company do not hold any money from chalet owners as a 'float'. Nor does the company hold back any monies, a levy is paid and that is all.
- Other than the levy no other fees are due to be paid by chalet owners during the year.*
- General repairs to the estate are included in the levy. See on the 'Diary' pages for improvements that are made as a matter of course during the years.
- Isle of Whithorn Leisure Ltd have public liability insurance which covers the common areas of the estate. Owners must have their own insurance.
