What your committee does

We all value our lovely Laigh Isle and the committee, who are chalet owners - are volunteers, and they try their best to look after the estate in the way it was envisaged (see elsewhere click here) the burdens, and to maintain the estate grounds to the highest standard. Most of the time the committee makes sure the grounds are maintained but we also organise an AGM, deal with unforseen circumstances like the storm Barra in 2022, and try to ensure that all runs smoothly.

So we ensure that:-

Contractors to Isle of Whithorn Leisure Ltd - provide a copy of Public Liability Insurance. For specialist jobs, such as cutting down a tree. This will apply to all contractors. No Public Liability Insurance or relevant "tickets" then no work*.

As we are a limited company we have to comply with UK legislation.
